Yay, this is my second group to reach 1000 pageviews in a short space of time (granted I started both in the same week) . There is some great art appearing here, it is amazing to see how the Norse Death Goddess is so many things to so many people.

From the 18th until the 30th of March I will be away on holiday with no Internet access but ~Cornelia-Queen should still be available to accept group submissions. When I return I hope to see new members and some competition entries (the competition info can be found here:[link] ). There's no real rush, as the deadline is 1 June 2012. I sometimes work best under pressure and I know I'm not alone there but planning ahead can help make the end product more polished. Remember you can submit more than 1 entry.

While I am typing, I thought now would be a good time to ask whether we should include a 'Hel in Popular Culture' folder in the group? This would be set aside for fan art of Hel as she appears in film, television series, comics, etc. The other folders will be reserved for mythology-based or personal interpretations of Hel.
I blame Marvel for the idea though I am interested to see if Hela makes any appearances in future Thor movies. Another part of me worries that they would ruin her.
